Me: I was born in 1977. My birthday, just in case you are a friend and want to send me a present or in case you find me so attractive from the home page that you want to send me a gift as a way to introduce yourself, is Jan 16 (Capricorn).
High School: Hastings High School was pretty cool. Basically I just hung around with small groups of my close friends. Through all the heartbreaks (and believe me, there were a lot of them) I managed to get through it. Most of my friends were women, and many of them are still my close friends. Senior year provided an oppurtunity for me to get a lot closer with a group of people from my class through the Peer Leadership program. Another large part of my H.S. career was Youth Group: a church sponsered group for teenagers where we came and hang out together on Friday Evenings. Five very special teachers that I would like to mention are Dr. Ryan, Dr. Gomez, Mr. Jernigan, Mr. Tucker, and Mr. Crino. These five teachers taught me so much and helped me out so much through H.S. Dr. Ryan and Dr. Gomez are both great math teachers. Although they have different styles, I enjoyed both of their classes. They are definately a huge part of where I am now. Mr. Tucker showed me that history wasn't for me, but at the same time I learned to love economics in his class. I am currently minoring in it. Mr. Jernigan and Mr. Crino both taught band and jazz band. I played the trumpet, poorly, and they yelled at me a lot for it, but it was always a lot of fun. I consider them both good friends and Mr. Jernigan definately knows more about my personal life than any teacher should.
Family: I have two brothers, five and seven years older. They were always lots of fun.I guess I never knew them as people that well until recently, I was just too young. My parents are great. To learn more about my family members, you can go to the family page that I made.
Judaism: Growing up in a reformed jewishhousehold was a weird experience. Depending on my parents religious feelings that week we would either celebrate the sabbath complete with candles and prayers or forget all about it. I don't know if I ever really believed in god, but I don't currently. I went through a short period in my life where I didn't think that I was jewish since I didn't believe in any of the religious stuff, but recently I have figured out that I will always be jewish because of my upbringing, my morals, and lots of other good stuff that comes with it. I hope to stay close enough to the religion that I will be able to bring my children up in it, but I doubt that I will marry a jewish woman (simple numbers, not any predisposition).
Vacations: Camp Becket is a sleep away camp that I went to for eight years. It is located in Becket, MA. There is a beautiful pond, called Rudd Pond, which is the third cleanest body of water in Massachusetts. There is no alcohol, drugs, or cursing there, not that those are all bad things, but when you are eight they are. Competition is only present in minor amounts during sports. All other times there is an aura of friendship.
My family vacations each summer at Trout Lake Club. Trout Lake is a two square mile lake with a beautiful island in the middle. Basically the same people come up each year so I grew up in a crib with Terry O'Donnell and we still are friends. We rent a small cabin with electricity but no t.v. or other modern stuff like that. It is a great time to hang out, relax, and spend time with family and friends.
College: I attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where I majored in Computer Science. Frankly that is about all there is to say about MIT.
Sig Ep: I was/am a brother in Sigma Phi Epsilon. It is a fraternity with fifty-five guys, living in two five story brown stones in the middle of Boston. I loved it and had a great time. It is one of the best decisions I have ever made. My pledge class has thirteen guys in it, and we are extremely tight. Hanging out was great and the parties were amazing.
