InterSystems Corporation

Cambridge, MA

Employed in the Objects Group of the Development Department.  Projects completed include applications written in Visual C++, Visual Basic, and C, utilizing COM, inter-process communication, and multiple transport protocols.
Currently working with a team of eight on the company’s Integrated Develop Environment (IDE). The IDE features live syntax checking of six programming and scripting languages, a full-featured visual debugger, and communication with InterSystems databases running on Windows, Unix, Linux, VMS, and other platforms.  Also assisted in the planning and prototype phases of the IDE.
Previous work includes accessing variables from shared memory, displaying and graphing data, manipulating advanced Window’s controls, and graphics work using device contexts to create image maps.

Jan. '97 - Jan. '98

Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity at MIT

Boston, MA

Developed and maintained a $300,000 budget as the Fraternity’s Comptroller.  Was responsible for receivables, payables, and planning for future expenditures and projects. Was part of a committee of ten people in charge of running the day-to-day activities and developing the long-range plans of the fraternity.  Sought, hired, and managed a full-time chef.

Montefiore Medical Center

Bronx, NY

Assisted staff with patient registration and billing and solved PC, terminal, and networking problems throughout the Admitting/Finance department.

COMPUTER
SKILLS:

Proficient programming in Java, C++, Visual C++ (with MFCs), COM, Visual Basic, Caché ObjectScript, PASCAL, Lisp, InstallShield Scripting, and HTML/Web Design.  Experienced designing, evaluating, and implementing systems.  Highly skillful with Windows (all versions), DOS, MacOS, UNIX, Word Perfect, Word, Quattro Pro, Excel, etc.  Experienced in installing, maintaining and problem solving IBM Compatible hardware, software and systems.
